Challenge:
Although any organization can create an event on Friskus, the main focus lay on charity and voluntary partnerships. The idea was to promote volunteer activities and allow residents to contribute to society in a way that was accessible.
The main challenge was the full completion of the project, from day one to the release. SeniorDev’s tasks entailed building architecture, developing features, testing the website, creating UI/UX design, etc.
Solutions:
The platform is online and successfully up and running. Users can create events, communicate with attendees, notify them about changes, and manage the events. The website is intuitive, user-friendly, and does not require a steep learning curve.
As for residents, they will discover the event overview right on the homepage where they can sift through the various activities, apply filters, and find the perfect event.
